Anna Kathryn, I loved these, plus I loved the ones added by Anonymous. Thank you for reminding me of all these lovely quotes. I always loved the quote by Eleanor Roosevelt that went "No one can make you feel inferior without your permission." She had a lot of reason to know.

Hi, gals. Sorry I haven't commented earlier. I should have said in my post that it's my birthday and I would be at RodeoHouston all day, enjoying the rodeo exhibits, rodeo and Brad Paisley concert with my daughters.

Great quotes. Caroline, I almost put that one by Eleanor, but then choose the other. Thanks. Anonymous....what's your name? Sally, I like that quote, too. Love the book and the Colin Firth movie version.

These are all good quotes, especially the one about forgiving, but I like Margaret Atwood: Don't be afraid of failure. "A ratio of failures is built into the process of writing. The wastebasket has evolved for a reason."
